Philodendron hederaceumis an evergreen climbing plant originating from the West Indies. It is a widely cultivated houseplant, famous for its glossy, heart-shaped leaves, hence the common name heartleaf philodendron. It contains calcium oxalate crystals, so it can be mildly toxic when ingested.

General Facts

The plant is skilled at eliminating toxins such as formaldehyde from the air, making them beneficial for indoor environments. Parts of the plant contain calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause irritation if ingested.

Care Instructions

Light Watering
Water it when the top 5 cm of soil are dry. It’s not keen on sitting in soggy soil, so ensure excess water drains away.

Medium Light
It can tolerate semi-shade, though its leaves may fade a bit. It prefers a bright room for optimal growth and vibrant color.

Humidity
A moist atmosphere helps keep its leaves healthy. Give it a good mist every few days, or consider placing it in a steamy bathroom to boost humidity.

The plant is really beautiful, very healthy, and completely pest-free. I’m very impressed with the way you packaged the plant to protect it from any damage.

I just have one comment: the plant tends to be quite small, with only one or two small branches. I hope its size could be larger, with more and bigger leaves.

However, overall, you are a very professional company. This is not my first time dealing with you, and it definitely won’t be the last. Almost all the indoor plants in my home are from your store!

Ist I got my 2 Christmas Cactus but I was not fully satisfied of their size
