Our website address is: https://kaynuna.co. We provide plants and pots to Cairo Residents, sourced from farmers around Egypt.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

You'll get an email with the care instructions and light requirements for each plant to make sure you know how to help your plants grow! Picking the right plants for my home

What type of light do I have?

There are a few light meter apps to help you understand the light conditions in your home.

  • Bright light is above 3,000 LUX for 6 hours a day
  • Medium light is between 750 LUX and 3,000 LUX
  • Low light is between 270 LUX and 750 LUX

For outdoors

  • Direct Sun is more than 6 hours a day
  • Semi-Shaded is 2-6 hours of direct sun
  • Shaded does not receive any direct sun outdoors or less than two hours

How do I choose the right plants for my personality?

If you're choosing based out of personality;

  • Low maintenance is for people who tend to forget things.
  • Tropical and humidity loving plants are for people who like to care for their plants daily
  • Outdoor plants are perfect for people who like to spend time in their balconies and gardens
  • Finally, succulents are perfect for you if you want plants that don't care more than once a month

How do I style plants for my home?

I think this is the easiest part, I like to move plants around so make sure the leaf colors and pot colors fit most rooms in your home and make sure to move them around until it fits.

Delivery

When can I expect my order to arrive?

We usually ship within 10 working days, it might be sooner but we'll do our best to make sure its not later than this.

Who does the shipping?

We ship our plants, most shipping companies aren't used to plants so we use our own car.

Are plants affected by shipping?

Yes 100%, especially in the summer. Leaves might turn a bit brown or get spots, but its okay because we make sure the plants are well rooted and are able to create new leaves in your home

What's the difference between brown pots and black pots?

Black Pots:

Perfect for anyone planning on putting the plants in a garden or have their own pot and soil that they would like to use. We ship black pots directly from the supplier to your home, we don't repot plants in black pots.

Brown Pots:

Plants in brown pots are repotted by us, we make sure the roots are healthy and the soil suits the plants needs. Its delivered in better quality brown pots that allow you to bring the plant into your home without any worries.

Is there a pickup service available?

Convenient Plant Ordering with easy pickup in 1st Settlement, New Cairo.

Are plants shipped with plates?

Plates are sold seperately on Kaynuna, you can get 10cm and 20cm plates from here. If you have selected a decorative pot, plates will be shipped with the order.

What should I do once I receive my plants?

Make sure the plant's stems and leaves are healthy, if you have ordered a flowering plant like the Jasmin or Gohanameya, its natural for the flowers to fall during shipping, the important thing is that the leaves and stem are good. The best way to know if a plant is doing well is if you can see it producing new leaves.

As a precaution, place the plants seperate from the existing plants in your home for 2 weeks, this is a standard practice to make sure that the new plants are healthy enough to be placed with your old ones.

When will I receive my plants?

We ship within 10 working days, this allows us to make sure the plants in your order are healthy and ready to be shipped. We will call you a day before the delivery to confirm your availability. We usually ship from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
