Care Instructions

Light: She's happiest in bright, indirect light, and can even take a little direct morning sun.

Water: Let the soil dry out between waterings, she stores water in her leaves like a succulent. Water less in winter.

Note: Empty the saucer after watering so her roots don't sit in water.

Preferred Spot

Indoors:
Place the Kalanchoe in a location with plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. A south-facing window is ideal, as it can provide the necessary light without exposing the plant to direct, intense sunlight. Make sure it's not placed near drafts or cold windows during winter.

Outdoors:
If you're considering placing the Kalanchoe outdoors, choose a spot with partial shade, especially in regions with hot, direct sunlight. Morning sunlight is preferable, as it is less intense. Protect the plant from strong winds and heavy rainfall, as excess moisture can be detrimental to its growth.
