The Moon Cactus combines two different cacti into one unique plant, a colorful top known as the “scion” and a green host cactus. The scion usually lacks chlorophyll but displays vibrant red, yellow, or orange pigmentation. The lower host cactus can be any species, but it’s often a Hylocereus cactus.
