Fittonia — Nerve Plant
Pretty, dramatic, and finally manageable.

Bright green leaves with soft pink veins — she's stunning on a shelf. Fittonias are theatrical — they wilt when thirsty, then bounce back after a drink. In a self watering pot she stays consistently happy without the guilt trip.

Low light tolerant. Pet friendly. A bit of a challenge without the right pot — this is the right pot.

Care Instructions

Watering:
Keep 2–3 cm of water in the decorative pot at all times — that's your reservoir. The wick does the rest, drawing water up as the soil needs it.

Light:
bright indirect light brings out her pattern.
she can tolerate medium light but avoid deep shade.
mist every now and then to keep her fresh.

Note: always empty the plate after watering to keep her roots happy and healthy.

General Facts

Fittonias (Nerve Plants) are little drama queens — when they’re thirsty, they completely faint and flop over. But give them a drink, and within hours they perk right back up, like nothing happened.
