Light:
full direct sun every day, at least 6 to 8 hours. no shade, no compromise on this one. the more sun she gets the better the fruit.
Water:
water deeply every 2 to 3 days in spring and summer. she needs consistent moisture especially when fruiting. reduce watering in winter when she goes dormant. never let her sit in waterlogged soil.
Feeding:
fertilize every 3 to 4 weeks during spring and summer with a plant food added to your watering can.

a garden bed is ideal, she'll grow bigger and fruit more heavily with room for her roots to spread. a large container of at least 50 to 70 litres works well for a terrace or large balcony. full sun position, away from walls that trap heat on all sides.
