Light:
Bright, indirect light is best.
Too little light → colours fade and lose their drama.
Too much direct sun → scorched, crispy edges.
Water:
Keep 2–3 cm of water in the decorative pot at all times — top it up every 3–5 days, or whenever it runs low.
Make sure the water level doesn't touch the bottom of the inner pot — the wick does the work.
Use filtered or dechlorinated water (tap water can cause brown leaf edges).
Humidity:
Needs high humidity to thrive (kitchen, bathroom)
