Light:
full direct sun every day. she grows toward the light and develops her best colour and structure in full sun. a south facing garden or open terrace is ideal.
Water:
water deeply once every 2 to 3 weeks in summer, once a month or less in winter. she stores water in her thick stems and overwatering will rot her from the base. always let the soil dry out completely between waterings.

Cereus repandus

a sunny garden bed where she can grow tall without restriction is ideal. she also works beautifully in a large pot on a south facing terrace as a vertical statement piece. plant several together for a dramatic privacy screen effect. not suitable for indoors.
