The little queen.

She's small, she's dramatic, and she knows it. The Black Velvet Alocasia has some of the most striking leaves in the plant world — deep almost-black velvet with crisp white veins that look hand-drawn. She doesn't take up much space, but she absolutely commands attention.

Care Instructions

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch his leaves.

Water: During summer, check her every 5–7 days. In winter every 10-14 days.

Temperature: Thrives in warm temperatures (18-27°C). Keep away from cold drafts and AC vents.

General Facts

Her Latin name reginula means "little queen" — and she was named that by botanists, not marketers. She earned the title just by existing.
