he Prickly Pear, but make it blue. the Blue Prickly Pear grows large, perfectly round pads in the most unusual shade of blue-grey, it looks almost architectural, like something a designer would choose on purpose. and they do. this is one of the most visually striking outdoor plants you can own in Cairo, and one of the easiest.

Care Instructions

Light:
full direct sun every day, the more the better. the blue colour intensifies with more sun exposure. a south or west facing garden or balcony is ideal.
Water:
water deeply once every 2 to 3 weeks in summer, once a month or less in winter. she stores water in her pads and overwatering is the fastest way to lose her. excellent drainage is essential.
